Anna has always been passionate about art and creating. She attended art classes throughout middle and highschool and often flipped through her mother's Southern Living magazines for design inspiration. While contemplating a college major at the University of Georgia, a friend mentioned Interior Design, and Anna knew that was her path. She pursued her B.F.A. in Interior Design from the Lamar Dodd School of Art at UGA, a CIDA-accredited program. Along the way, she enjoyed the art electives required for the degree and participated in a study abroad program in Cortona, Italy. 

Upon graduation, Anna moved to Jacksonville, FL, to begin her career in the design industry. Starting as an intern and working her way up to project manager at a couple of well-known Jacksonville-based firms, she gained valuable knowledge and formed many meaningful relationships in the design community. In 2021, she founded River & Palm and has cherished every moment since.
